Computer Rental Project

This project is aimed to support students through their stay at university, without them having the burden of looking after an expensive laptop.  

• Recycling

The environment is very important to us all; by supporting the rental project you would be helping to preserve it and I.T. equipment 

• Crime prevention

Parents often purchase expensive laptops to support students through University. Criminals see laptops as a target and many are stolen. If we could suggest to parents that they encourage students to rent a computer, and that the laptop is going to be a reward at the end of their stay at university this would make a good present, at the time of passing their degree. 

• Costs

The cost can be shared by say two or three sharing a computer. At a cost of £2.00 per week with a small deposit of £50.00 that is refundable at the end of the rental period. The computer system would then be refurbished for use by the next intake of students.
